Maggie Elliott, Lead Facilitator & Systems Leadership

Maggie Elliott is a facilitator, coach and systems leadership who is passionate about helping people, organisations and communities navigate complexity and create meaningful change. With more than twenty years of experience working across education, public services and the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector, she brings a unique blend of strategic insight, relational practice and deep curiosity about how change happens in complex systems.

Maggie specialises in person-centred and values-based approaches to leadership and transformation, supporting individuals, teams and partnerships to think differently about the challenges they face. She is known for her ability to create reflective, inclusive and psychologically safe spaces where diverse perspectives can be explored, difficult conversations can take place and shared understanding can emerge. Her work helps people move beyond immediate solutions to address the deeper patterns, relationships and assumptions that shape systems and outcomes.

Throughout her career, Maggie has worked at the intersection of place-based change, health equity, workforce development and narrative transformation. She has designed and facilitated large-scale learning programmes, leadership events and collaborative processes that bring together community members, practitioners and senior leaders around a shared purpose. Her experience includes supporting systems leadership initiatives across Greater Manchester, co-leading health equity and community engagement programmes, and helping organisations develop more inclusive, participatory approaches to strategy and change.

Before moving into consultancy, Maggie spent thirteen years in secondary education, including in senior leadership roles focused on curriculum development, staff learning, coaching and mentoring. This foundation continues to influence her practice, bringing a strong commitment to learning, reflection and human-centred leadership. Whether working with communities, public sector organisations or cross-sector partnerships, Maggie combines warmth, insight and practical expertise to help people build stronger relationships, develop collective leadership and create lasting change.

Currently completing an MSc in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing, Maggie continues to deepen her understanding of the connections between wellbeing, behaviour, learning and systems change. Her work is grounded in the belief that sustainable transformation happens when people feel connected, valued and empowered to shape the future together.
